Palmeraie Foods Introduces the OCO brand


Palmeraie Foods Presents the OCO brand to the Dominican Market and its new product line based on Coconut Water.

Santo Domingo, D.R., Tuesday, June 27, 2017 Mecenas Café, was the place selected by the Palmeraie Foods Company to present the brand OCO Coconut Water.

OCO is coconut and more! With only 8 months in the Dominican market continues to innovate extending its lines OCO TEA and OCO BLENDS. Both lines are unique combinations of the freshest organic coconut water with tea and tropical fruits. Today, the Oco family is integrating Oco with Green Tea and Oco with Guava juice. Both drinks loaded with antioxidants and nutrients ideal for good hydration and healthy enjoyment at any time of the day.

Dr. Tammy Toribio, counselor and nutritional coach, dietetics and oncological and sports nutrition, gave the welcome words to the participants and presented Mr. Victor Mestre, founder and CEO of OCO, coconut water, who offered the central words of The presentation of new products and abounded about its characteristics and benefits, noting that these are the latest innovations that OCO brings to its consumers, who will enjoy the wonderful benefits that bring them to achieve the balance of a healthy and delicious life.


 

Mr. Victor Mestre, a former high-level swimmer and now a passionate competitor of the 10K Open Water Marathon, began his words by summarizing the company’s corporate purpose. «We develop unique drinks that will help us live more eagerly.” «The coconut was born on the beach and rightly so, its water is ideal for all who enjoy the many activities that it offers us.» He also stated that OCO lives with the passion and adventure of trying and enjoying new things. For this reason, it constantly seeks to be a step ahead with its products, based on Coconut Water, combining the most exotic and different flavors that are of great benefits for the day to day of those who prefer a healthier and more natural lifestyle.

Mr. Victor Mestre continued to point out that the Dominican Republic is the largest producer of coconuts in the heart of the Caribbean, as well as one of the largest exporters of organic coconut to the United States market, having a climate suitable for sowing and coconut production has an ideal coconut water for the national and international market. «We believe in our product and in our country,» said Mestre, who added, «That is why we have invested in the Dominican Republic contributing to provide employment and promoting in such important areas as agriculture and manufacturing.» In addition, he mentioned that Oco will start exporting to Puerto Rico and the US beginning next July. «We are very proud to participate in the international market as a Dominican producer that has a unique product that is regulated by the highest and most demanding quality standards.”

 


 

OCO TEA, is the combination of natural Tea made on OCO Coconut Water base. As of today it has two varieties: OCO BLACK TEA and now OCO GREEN TEA.

OCO BLENDS, are healthy «superfruit» juice blends with the OCO Coconut Water base, currently with two varieties: OCO PASSION FRUIT and now the new and refreshing OCO GUAVA.

We manage the best coconut water, because we strictly follow protocols in the selection of coconuts and the extraction of water. We implemented a proprietary system of double filtration, light pasteurization and cold packaging that ensures the highest freshness and quality of the product. It’s not easy, but good and different never is.
